    I'm set to go through Brachytherapy next week, the twice dailyX5 day internal treatment, versus the traditional once dailyX5 week external radiation process, however I'm getting mixed signals on it. The info on the American Cancer Society site say it has not been proven effective yet, but the  the oncologist says it's just as effective. Just wondering if anyone found anything published to support this process, or if I'm just going to have to take the doctors word on it? Also,  I haven't found much that talks about the side effects for this process, so if you had it, what sort of side effects did you have?
