Thymic Hyperplasia, anyone?

I had a chest CT a couple weeks ago. The radiologist was concerned because there was some thickening of the skin on the treated side and the report said thymic hyperplasia. My Onc Nurse said they wanted to watch it and have another ct in three months. She didn't really give me any detail information about what it was and the seriousness of it. She stated that the skin may be thicken because I just finished radiation in May and the thymus may be enlarged due to chemo.
Has anyone experienced either? I am confused.

I did read somewhere that it can be caused by radiation.
