taxol and neuropathy

Tomorrow I will go for treatment 11 of 12 Taxol/ Cisplatin. My question is the past couple of weeks my fingers and fingertips have bevome very sore and painful. I also have numbing in my feet. I am worried if this gets worse will it be permanent? I am so ready to get this over with, but I am really worried about this neuropathy.
Also, I come here daily and soak up knowledge, thanks to everyone who posts.
