    Hi Ladies,

I was diagnosed with BC .  Does anyone know what skin mets look like? I am not a hypochondriac but this is just odd, if anyone could help I'd appreciate it. I have had it now for over 1 week

Why do you think this is skin mets??? It isn't on your breast! did you try warm packs to bring it to a head?Did you have a shot there?  There are many things it could be besides skin mets.  If it is just a lump on your butt, go to your PCP and have them DX it!  good luck and don't worry!!

    Hi

Just wanted to say NH, it doesnt have to be on your breast for it to be mets. Im guessing the lumps are hard, not sore or red, would that be correct OP?

I hope the lumps are just cysts or something B9, if you cant get into the onco I would go to the GP and have them looked at, that way you will feel better about it. I think it's quite natural for you to be paranoid of anything unusal...all the best :)

Hi, for what it's worth my DH get these sometimes. He's an exercise junkie and hot weather and sweating sometime produce this. I don't if it's actually called a "boil" but that's what I refer to it as. If it's tender to the touch and warm, then it might be that. They gradually go away, but really it's a like a big pimple that take much longer to disappear. But definitely go see your GP to put your mind at ease.

Sounds like a sebaceous cyst to me and the buttocks are a common area for them.  Cysts can hurt like heck and look like a disgusting bad pimple, or they can just be solid lumps that are not painful.  Have it checked out, but I bet that's all it will be.  Good luck.

I analyze medical charts for a living and MRSA abscesses are a very prevelent now. The buttocks is one of the most popular places it chooses to manifest.
