She's right! If alcohol doesn't give those European babes BC, then we clearly have soemthing else going on, don't we? I have heard that when people from other countries who have low levels of BC come here, their risk goes up as if they had lived here all along. I think environmental toxins have a lot to do with it.

Of course I just finished reading the latest blurb on alcohol consumption on this very bc.org.  What are your thoughts, group?

I'm interested in the thoughts on this as well.  I know when I had my rad hyst for cervical cancer, I didn't drink for a long time.  I have gone througjh periods where my anxiety was pretty bad and alcolhol made me sick, even just a 1/2 a glass of wine.

I'm considering cutting back to just stopping, although maybe post surgery on 1/31.  Currently I drink maybe 1 glass of wine per day, 5-7/wk.  So thinking 1-2/wk would be a good reduction if not just quitting altogether.

Oh thank the Lord.  No one can take away my wine at this point - it has medicinal effects and is part of my treatment plan! Ha ha!  When people ask me how I am coping, I want to say "I have a wine IV hooked up most of the time so I am good!" jokingly of course.........
