Bone scan

I'm about 2and 1/2 years out--stage 3 trip neg.  For the last several months I have had a pain in my upper arm--not elbow or shoulder and pains in my thigh bones.  I asked the onc about it and he said we could do a bone scan which I have scheduled for next week.  He said that it would be very unusual to have cancer in these areas.  Am I being too nervous?  I really don't worry all that much but this has really bothered me for a while.  Any opinions?
