Cancer in left or right breast?

Just seems like so many people have cancer in their left breast, just curious to see if it is more in the right or left.  Thank you.

I've read that a study showed 49.5% in right breast, 50.5% in left. That's called "not statistically significant".

I am not her2+ so I hope u don't mind me posting....but left AND right.  One of the lucky ones with bilateral BC. Both found and treated at same time.  Guess it could not decide which it liked best.

BOTH!    But, left was worse.

Right side, 10:00 position.

Both-left was worst-dc, and right had tubular.  So 2 diff kinds of bc.  Lucky me.

interesting thread...I wonder if the dominant hand makes a difference?  I'm a lefty and got it in my left breast.

Definitely a great question!

There is a thread that has been going on since 2009 about the quadrants of the breast - it
also lists which - right or left.
