mass select for private messages
Is there a mass select for private messages?
I have a bunch in my mailbox I want to delete but I have to click each one indivudally.

No. I also did one by one.
And I cant figure out how to delete the Sent Messages?
-
Yes, I am able to delete several at a time. Just put a check in the box in front of all the PMs you want to delete then click on the "Delete" above them. They should all be sent into your Trash box. At least this is the way it works on my computer program. Hope this helps.
BTW, I just realized this works for PMs sent to "us" but the ones we send to others, I cannot find a box to check to send them to the Trash or Delete them. That is weird. If someone comes up with a way to delete the "Sent" PMs, I would appreciate knowing how. Thanks!

Medigal...I thought Rose meant without checking just Delete the entire page.
I do that. I like to clear once in a while. But I have some very special PM's I keep it.
-
I have a couple hundred of them so I'd like a "check all" option! One at a time is tedious.
-
If the Moderators are reading this, it would be a great help to us if they could put a "Delete All" thing on the page especially for the Sent PMs. Doesn't hurt to ask.
-
Medigal....you know you can PM the moderators yes?
-
Sheila: No. From where?? I'll go check my homepage. Thanks!
-
I went to the Website Feedback page and send them a note on there asking for certain changes to the PM site. I could not find any place to PM Moderator. Hopefully the Feedback page will get the message to them.
-
Medigal click on this and do the same way you PM someone.
Let me know.
Also dont forget to add it to your favorite member

Oh Sheila, you are just too brilliant!! It worked great and I sent the Moderators a message for possibility of improving the Received and Sent PMs site. I also sent one to Webpage Feedback people yesterday so I do hope we get a response on this. I bookmarked your cute little icon so I will not have to bother asking again in future. Sometimes, I just go braindead, I think.

I just returned from an errand and there was a reply waiting for me from Melissa to my PM. She said she would pass on our request to the team. So now we just have to wait and see what they can or cannot do with the site to make it more easy to use.
-
Melissa is nice and she always answers.
Good Job Medigal

Sorry to say... at least for the "sent" PMs.... I sent notes to the Mods at least a year or so ago. They did respond... but told me there was no option to delete messages sent.(huh?) Kinda strange. Hope you find one....I'd love to clean up my mailbox, too.
-
Phyliss: I really don't think they are going to redo the webpage just because I requested again. Maybe if we get a petition going.
So, I went ahead and just did the tedious job of deleting the ones I didn't want, one by one. If I had more confidence, I would have waited for their reply but I think you are right. I just don't understand why they did not notice this when they put it up for us and gone ahead back then and made it easier to handle.
-
I'm not complaining...I can live with a messy mailbox. And I know this site lost a mod awhile back Melissa is the only one we have - I think. And with such a large site, it must be difficult just taking care of the basics. Melissa...Thanks for all you do for us.
-
Really wish there was a delete button for sent items...
-
Agree with you! I too have that issue. We hope to offer this very soon!
