Small pearly bumps?

I have a few small flesh colored or pearly-looking small bumps around my mx scar.  I am keeping an eye on them and am going to show them to my oncologist at my appointment.  (They are actually quite hard to see, especially in bright light.)  Just wondering if anybody has had skin mets that looked like this.

My initial dx was IDC (April 2008).  After AC, Taxol, and while on Herceptin and in the midst of radiation, had a recurrence that was IBC (finally diagnosed in June 2009 after all doctors saying no way could it be IBC after all that chemo and so much radiation).  Sent to MDA, switched to Xeloda and Tykerb which finally zapped the cancer.  In fact, when I had my mx in Feb. 2010, there was no cancer left.  In the past month or so I have seen these very small bumps and just wondering.  They look nothing like my initial IBC rash which was purplish-red.  

Anybody?

Not sure if this is a recurrance of IBC, however, if your onco dr appt is more than a week away you need to be pushing about getting in to see him faster.

Darn it, Faith.  I would definitely get it checked out soon.  Unfortunately, I think skin mets can look like you are describing.  I had some of those with my orginial IBC, in fact they were still there at surgery, although my skin path came back clean at surgery.  ibcsupport.org has some skin met pics.  Let us know.  I hope and pray it is NOT skin mets.

Dear Faith,

I am sorry that you are facing the possibility of a recurrence. My original rash was a raised reddish-purple rash also. I would request a punch biopsy and go from there. I hope that you can get in soon and that it will NOT be a recurrence.

hi   reading you post, i had mascetomy and recon in march, now i have three like pearly lumps, and a red one , i had a biopsy, and they found cancer cells. i am having a ct scan tomorow.

As others have said, better to get it checked out. Hope it turns out to be nothing.
