I had my first visit with a nutrionist yesterday and feel like I learned a whole lot about how hormones are absorbed into the bloodstream, etc. Part of our discussion yesterday included the nutritionist telling me about how hormones get slated for either being water soluable and being excreted through urine, or by becoming fat-soluable and being carried back through our bodies.

I have problems with IBS and as such, have some nutritional deficiences caused by this. The nutritionist prescribed a few things, but I was intrigued by Taurine and B6, as the Taurine causes the gall/pancreas to increase bile production to help break down the hormones-- so more hormones are removed via urine.  I just started this today, so I will keep you posted on the results of it all.

I also got good news on the Vitamin D front. I increased my levels from 39 to 69!!!!  Getting up there! He still wants it to be a bit higher, around 80-100 range so I will continue and possibly add another drop in the morning.

Wondering if any others have taken the Taurine/B6 combo.
