Oncotype DX testing and tumor size

Does anyone know  - can all tumors (meeting the requirements for Oncotype testing, ie. st 1, ER+, etc.) be used for this test or is it possible for a tumor to be too small to test?  Also, do individuals with DCIS get the Oncotype test?

I'm asking because they tested my largest tumor (standard protocol) but what if my smaller tumors gave a higher score?  Also, my biggest tumor was DCIS but that isn't the one tested (at least I don't think it was).  My Pathology report was a disorganized mess (as far as I am concerned) and had holes in it.

    Thanks, Kim

I'm pretty sure I read that the tumor sample size needs to be at least 3mm in diameter. Also, the test is for early stage (ER+) invasive cancer so since DCIS isn't invasive it wouldn't be tested. Hope this helps!
