Desperately in need of Help

Options

My s.i.l who is 48 years old has been diagnose with Stage 3 breast cancer. Her tumor is 7.5 cm.My s.i.l is extremely weak person mentally and  has been on anti depressants for few years. The oncologist said that mastectomy can be avoided and suggested chemo treatments. My s.i.l is too weak mentally and even physically to  go through chemo treatments. Thus would really appreciate it if someone who has been cured(or know someone )using alternative treatment ,could help.

Also does anyone know a good Naturopath in Philadelphia who would be able to help in this matter?

Thanks in advance

Dave

Hi Dave, First of all im sorry about your SIL, this is a good place to come for support and advice hopfully you can get her to come here it will really help her get thru it, thats great that you care enough about her to come here for advice. Sometimes we think at first we wont get thru this but then we find out we are stronger than we think we are, she will and can get thru this it tough but doable. Im sorry i can't help with a naturopath, but if she needs chemo she should do that instead ,in my humble opinion.chemo treatments have really come a long way from how it used to be, and all though we dont say we are cured because there is not a cure for breast cancer, but it can be treated, there are lots of woman here who have had bc for years and doing well, she can fight it and win the battle, she just needs the support from all her family and friends, just help her get thru it and before she knows it, she will be done with treatments and doing good.

Please keep us posted on how she is doing, i will keep her in my thoughts and prayer, god bless

    warm hugssssssssss

    Debbie

I'm so sorry to hear of your sil's dx.  There's a Cancer Treatment Center of America in Philadelphia.  You might be interested in reading Yazmin's thread in this section about her experience.
