Friends,

I am a daughter of breast cancer and my mother is a two-time survivor. I am also a psychology graduate student at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA pursuing my doctorate degree and am in the process working on my dissertation. I have selected a topic near and dear to my heart and I am reaching out for your help.

My research investigates sexuality and body image among young adult women whose mothers have been diagnosed with breast cancer. This is an area of interest of mine considering the connection I personally have with the disease and you may as well.

Who Can Participate?
Women between the ages of 18-35 whose biological mother has undergone (or is currently undergoing) breast cancer treatment.

Participation Includes:
Completion of two questionnaires that will take a total of approximately 60 minutes to complete. Completed materials will be returned anonymously in an enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope.

I greatly appreciate any help you are able provide in forwarding this information to others (including appropriate groups, listservs, clinics, and offices) who might be interested in participating in the study. If you would like further information, please contact me at Daughters_of_BC@yahoo.com

Thank you for your support with this. I greatly appreciate it. This area holds a close place in my heart.

Warm Wishes,
Danen Adelson, M.A.
