We don't get snow in my city of Melbourne, although some of the nearby mountains do. We sometimes get hail, which can look like snow.

too short...always too short!! Lol No, seriously it was great!! Beach vacation in Panama City Beach, FL. Started in St Pete Beach, FL but moved up to the panhandle because of hurricane force winds and torrential rains!! (That was 2 years ago. No vacation last year due to my diagnosis.)

Ocean, I'm glad you enjoyed your last vacation but it's a pity you couldn't go last year.

I would love to go on a vacation with a beautiful view of the beach, plus have comfortable beds.

That's a tough one...I like both but I probably prefer iced coffee just a bit more.

Yes, since my diagnosis I do. I usually have a protein bar and a protein shake.

not really - I find I burn easily using the lower SPFs that I have always used in the past now that I am on Tamoxifen. So I have had to resort to a higher SPF which is limiting my tanning unfortunately.

sunscreen - yes or no? SPF?

Hi Ocean! I occasionally use sunscreen from a health food store that doesn't have as many nasty additives as usual. I think the SPF is 30. I don't go in the sun all that much and I have fair skin.

Oh, definitely can't wait for it to cool off this weekend just a little!! We are going from a hot and humid 98 to a pleasant 80-84!! Can't wait!!!

Hi Aussie!! How are you doing? Have you gotten your drains out yet? I've been thinking about you. I hope you're getting along ok.

Sunbather or no? (I am - a perfect afternoon for me is laying in the sun around the pool, with a beer, listening to music, with a fan blowing on me!! Makes me feel like I'm at the ocean!! When they gave me "Chemo Education" and told me no pools, I told them "Don't take my summer away from me." And told them that's exactly what I love to do. And he said as long as it was MY pool and not a public pool, I was OK.)
