Hi,    I was stage 1 BC and had a lumpectomy and some lymph nodes removed.   Chemo, Radiation, Herceptin and now tamoxifin.    Recently I have had heart palpiations, sometimes I break out in a sweat but mostly my upper body gets very hot and a lot of times I feel like I lack sweating.   All of this I think has caused me to be anxious and my stomach would bloat up and spasm causing a spasm in my neck and shoulder.    My Dr gave me Ativan and that helps calm my nerves but these palpiations come out of now where and I haven't felt myself in 6 weeks.   My oncologist said I have very low estrogen levels which is great for keeping my BC away.  Anyone else dealing with this "pre-monopause" type affects?    I was told to take calcium and magnesium and COQ10 for the palpitations.   Any help you would great!   I am in a creative field and can't keep laying on the couch because I don't feel well!

Hi there, i am post menopausal, but still have very low estrogen levels and get hot flushes etc. I have found the 'chillow' very effective as it keeps you cool at night. Also if you make sure you do plenty of exercise that seems to help rather than lying on the sofa as i find that i get really hot doing this.

I am going to get back to exercising!    I had been afraid to after the heart palpitations but since my cardiologist said it my heart is normal he said it's fine to exercise.
