missed cycle after surgery

I am 27 and had a bi-lateral mastectomy 4 weeks ago and I have not gotten my cycle. I am not 2 weeks late. I had a pregnacy test done at the doctor to confirm I am not pregnant. Is it normal to miss your cycle after surgery?
