help from women who speak Spanish?

Hello everybody:

 I don't know exactly where to post this request.  My sister in law lives in Argentina.  Eight years ago she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.  She had a mastectomy, several of her lymph nodes were positive, up to now her cancer is not metastatic.  She has had several recurrences which were treated successfully with radiation and chemo.  She was free of treatment for a year.  Now they detected two small lesions in her thorax through a tomography.  She's very distraught, and tells me that is tired of fighting.  Since this site has been so good to me, I would like her to visit it and benefit from it too.  I was diagnosed with DCIS the last of April and everything has been ok.  I would like to know if there are Spanish speaking people on this site my sister in law can communicate with, or if anybody knows of a site similar to this in Spanish.  I thank you all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi there.  I was raised speaking spanish and though I am not fluent anymore I can still understand quite well and could try to use a translator to speak to your sister in law. I also have family that still speak Spanish  (I actually have an exchange student here from Spain right now but he is leaving this week)

Yo hablo un poquito de Espanol, tambien!  I'd be willing to give it a try if she could keep her words as basic as possible.  I know we could be of comfort to her.

Hi Maria,

I speak Spanish too! I was born and raised in Spain and my parents are from Latin America. Spanish is my first language and my MA is in Translation so i can help :-)
