Exercise and fatigue

OK, I know I am coming out of rads treatment (ended late April), but I am training for a centurion ride with a friend. I have noticed how slow I am, as well as how difficult it is to really catch my breath at times. I get extremely winded on hilly terrain. I was not so terribly out of shape before diagnosis, so this is all new to me, and I find myself a bit wiped out after my workouts. Does anyone have any tips about this? I am sitting down today, drinking some green tea, trying to just relax for a few moments before I start cooking for a buffet dinner we are attending tonight......
