Hot flashes!

Options

Any tips?  I started a protocol of Zoladex and Arimidex two months ago and I actually feel quite good.  This surprised me after everything I read on these boards.  I won't go into the ways that arimidex seems to have actually enhanced my sex life.  The only negative side effect I have is these hot flashes.  Any recommendations for what I can do about them?  I know effexor helps a lot of women, but I've been on effexor in the past for anxiety (and it was a great help) but had the freaky side effect of intense night sweats, so that will only make the problem worse.  I need to go alt for this one.

 Thanks.

I don't have many hot flashes, but I can say that I do get extra warm if I am not hydrated enough.  So a signal to me to drink water.

Otherwise, with the DC heat, I wouldn't know the difference between a hot flash and normal summer weather.

I know that when it's hot exercise also helps me.  By this, I mean exercise outdoors which is how I used to survive NYC summers.  I don't know why this works for me, but I tried to get in early AM something in the relatively cool, yet humid weather.

I guess it's about forcing your body to regulate temperature under stress.

Good luck.  Congrats on the "benefit" Laughing

I think taking DIM may have helped mine.  I take 200mg/day of the Nature's Way brand.
