still here too - making a bunch of phone calls to coordinate stuff prior to exchange surgery on the 24th - now worried about the facility I chose and considering making a change. Have a bunch of pre-op appts and a follow-up BS appt in the mix. Also doing the nesting thing - cleaning and organizing.
-
Specialk so excited for you- I am almost a year out from exchange and I am happier about results than I imagined possible, trusting ps and being close is essential - at least the way I feel - he has been a god send to me and we both are reluctant to end it hahahaha I see him again in six weeks I think also the fact he does do cosmetic jobs as well helps his specialty of reconstruction - I landed up looking like I have a breast reduction rather than full reconstruction
-
We still have MIAs.Hope everyone that is missing is doing great things and are too busy doing it....

Granny!
I'm here! Just keeping busy and getting over a cold
...when I get on the board, I'm always so busy catching up and seeing what everyone is doing...
Always lifiting my 2010 sisters up in prayer...I hope all are doing well....
Love,
Tori

When I got home yesterday I had the approval letter from my insurance company for my upcoming BMX with reconstruction. It is scheduled for March 26th. So once less thing to worry about now.
-
annettek - hoping for the best - I lost my left TE prior to chemo, and after numerous surgeries to excise skin. This has left some challenges, so we shall see in a couple of weeks. My PS does not do a lot of superficial cosmetic, not his deal, he is a recon guy, and does a ton of BC recon. He had a party in October for all his BC patients and it gave me a chance to look at the gals who are past recon - pretty awesome results on a lot of these ladies, so I have hope.

Hey there everyone! I am still around, I think???
Been busy with new grand-babies, spending time with older grandchildren, trying one more time to finish up things on my Mom's estate so I can be done with that job and getting over some sort of bug which I probably got from one or more of the grandchildren. I am still feeling a little nauseous and very tired, but I am still breathing so I guess that is a good thing. I have not been able to sew for almost 2 weeks and so I am in need of some sewing time to de-stress from dealing with everything.
Hope everyone is doing well with both recent and upcoming surgeries, tests and getting over whatever bug is currently making the rounds. HUGS to all.
Thinking of MIAs has anyone heard from Designer Mom? Think I need to touch base with her.

Hey all,
Happy Saturday! Good to see you Sanbar, sounds like you are doing well. I think a lot of us are keeping busy and just check in now and then. I can't help myself though, I love reading posts and putting in my 2 cents from time to time.
So who has the best plans for the weekend?? After my cleaning spree last week for a Super Bowl party, this weekend I'm planning to relax, working the yard (PULL SOME WEEDS wink wink to the other weed pullers anonymous groupies) and maybe watch a movie on Netflix.
-
Hey Shelley, my weed pulling days are over. Thank you condo living! I was at the pool last weekend but this weekend is a little cool for that. So plan B is to go visit a friend and go out to dinner. DH's band is playing tonight but it is 60 miles away so I am not going.

Very slow board sooooo i think ill tell you that i went to a Homeopathich Remidy class on SAt.MY GD wanted me to go as she is gonna be learining about all these different kinda oils.It was very interesting. She gave me this drink as i walked in with rose water.tasted real good and i felt the calming effect...maybe cause i do believe in all of it.These people are soooo low key, everyone speaks softly.and they all believe.she sold me some oil of compassion.first she told me to rub it between both hands and put a tiny drop and rub softly near my heart.she did tell me that i have lots of old old anger that will always keep my stomach acting up.by the time i left the class i was sooo zonked out, just staring into space in another world.dont know if it was the oil or not but something zonked me out and i havnt felt that was since my divorce 35 yrs.ago.
just wanted to share this story
Oh and they were talkin about the calendula cream and i mentioned i used the gel during rads sooo at the end of the class a lady with tears in her eyes came over to me and asked about the creams.i asked her what her dr.told her to use and she said nothin. Those lill hick towns have lill hick DRs.i felt bad for her soooo i sent her here!!!!!!!!!BCO.hope she comes on.

Hellooooooo Everyone! My apologies for not staying in touch. I felt the need to "move on" and back to my "real" life and felt that spending so much time on BCO wasn't working for me. I do pop in from time to time to check how everyone is. I am doing well, soon will celebrate my two year anniversary. Is it possible two years have passed? I have changed so much, grown so much, learned what is really important in life. Every day is a gift, my friends, live it fully.
AmyJo, my sweet friend, I am glad you are enjoying those wonderful grand babies. I am going to skype you if I can figure it out, really!!!
-
Hi DM!! Missed you!

Hi DM! Glad you popped in and are enjoying life. Hi Tori, hope you get over your cold soon.
I've been busy at work and have discovered Ancestry.com. Have any of you tried it? It's pretty neat.
