A scare..

I was in a meeting and I brushed my arm across my chest-- and felt a lump on my scar line. I tried to focus on the meeting while my mind raced ahead to "its back!" and I saw the future unfold in biopsies, more chemo, oh and I'll lose my hair again...FINALLY got to the bathroom and lifted my shirt to take a look and discovered... a mosquito bite!

oh my what a scare and yet I can hear that big sigh of relief to find out it was a bug bite.

who would think that we would be glad for a mosquito bite!!!!

Whew!  I had a pimple give me a few moments, too.  Who woulda thunk I'd be happy to see a big whitehead.

LOL! I have done the exact same thing with pimples. And ribs.

I had a bump on my chest near the scar line and thought. whaaaat...........until I looked at it and realized it was a bug bite too.  Never thought we'd all be thankful for bug bites and pimples did we?

lol!  I've had my heart skip a beat when I "found" a rib a couple times, too.

My scare came from an area of my breast (implant) that I hadn't noticed before.  It protruded a bit... felt like an almond.  I sat on that for a week and finally went to see my plastic surgeon.  He reassured me it was part of my implant and told me not to wait so long if I had an issue or scare like that again.
