Node Question-So confusing

So some of us had lots of nodes removed ( i had something like 28 removed with 12 pos) So of course I am stage 3c. But others only had 8 or 9 rmoved with lets say half of those being positive. They could NEVER be stage 3 c b-c they didn't even have 10 or more nodes to remove. So is it the amount of nodes or is it the…

shanagirl..im new on this board.i love your post.im wondering if you can answer a question.If my cancer spread to the axillary node(and it did) how come my stupid dr.only took out the sentinal node?my 2nd opinion dr.was very unhappy.Yes I went to a BIG BS.he also told me what he removed was 1cm.then it changed to 2. he said the grade and stage are the same.am i going crazy or is he a shoemaker?
