Any suggestions??

I will be getting my RX for my bra's and foobs this week. Any suggestions or tips to help me make sure  I get the right stuff. I'm so worried about spending the money and then not likeing the product. Or have the foobs ride up under my neck. So if you have any tips I would really be greatful to from you. Thanks Lucy

    Lucy,

One of our sisters, Barbara (screen name Erica) has a non-profit website with loads of helpful info, which many of us have contributed to.  If you check there and have further questions, come back here.  www.BreastFree.org is her site. It is one place to find just about everything you could want to know.  Good luck.

stick with the silicone breast forms even tho they sometimes feel heavy (like real breasts). they don't ride up like the lighter weight ones. I have tried both and hate them both. still looking for a better solution. had a double mastectomy in Dec. and am currently not wearing any foobs. just too uncomfortable. thinking of trying the stick on bra. any thots?

    lilacplane6,

Have you looked at the suggestions I offer on BreastFree.org (http://breastfree.org)? In the "Breast Forms" section (http://breastfree.org/viewer.php?num=42) of BreastFree, I describe a number of comfortable silicone and non-silicone options. Dawn kindly mentioned my site in the post before yours. Many women from breastcancer.org contributed their stories, photos, and information to the BreastFree site.

Also, the TLC website features a microbead weightless breast form that many women here have tried and loved. Here's the link: http://www.tlcdirect.org/products/sku-8139__dept-34.html . I'll be adding that form to my website's "Breast Forms" section shortly. Also, if you like to sew, check out the "HOW TO MAKE A MICRO BEAD BREAST FORM" thread on this forum.

    Barbara
