Nutrition during radiation

Just had first radiation treatment for dcis (stage 0, er/pr +, lumpectomy, good margins (23 total treatments)). I would like to know a couple things. Does breast size determine how bad the side effects are? Also, for the people that had few side effects (pink, not to bad) what did you do? Did you drink lots of water, eat lots of fruit, drink wine? I have been reading about the creams, I'm wondering about the nutritional things that everyone had done.
