Uterus lining up from 8mm to 12mm in 1 year

Sorry so long.  Just looking for advice/knowledge/or anyone who has had a similar report.

Not sure if this is the best place for this post.  I had a vaginal ultrasound done in May 2009 that basically states the uterus and ovaries were normal.  No masses, no fluid, endometrial thickness 8mm.

Because I am on tamoxifen (and have been on it for 2 years now as of this month), I just had another vaginal ultrasound June 2010 to check the thickness of the lining.  There are a few things on the report.  (1) a 7mm hypoechoic area in the fundus which could be a fibroid (no big deal I guess - normal for 43).  The endometrium lining is 12mm and some fluid is seen in the endometrial canal (I have not had a period since Easter this year (April 4, 2010) and before that my last period was October 2009 (so basically I have only had my period twice in over a year).

The report also states there is a 3.4cm simple/incidental cyst on the right ovary and that there is a small amount of free fluid in the cul-de-sac.

The also did an FSH blood test because I have not been getting my periods to see "how menapausal" I am .  The number came back normal showing I am not menapausal at all (which before the BC diagnosis 2 1/2 years ago, I was not menapausal at all and still go my periods regularly.  My FSH number is 16.1.

In addition, back in May 2009 they did a CT scan because I was admitted to the hospital with abdominal pain.  It ended up being my appendix, but at the time they were not sure.  During the CT scan they found "a small low-density structure in the left lobe of the liver".  It says it most likely is a hemangioma, but that further evaluation with an MRI should be done.  I was never told about this and have not had an MRI.  I have an appointment with my oncologist on Monday and plan to ask about the MRI, but I assume it probably is a hemangioma since a year has gone by and I have not had any symptoms (that I know of).

I have looked up all of these findings on the internet, and basically with all of the above it can either be non-cancerous or cancerous.  I am scheduled for a biopsy of the lining of my uterus on 7/22/10 which will give me the answer for that, but what about the fluid and the cyst?  What about the liver?

 Anyone else with similar issues?

Sorry so long.

Thanks for listening and reading.

Karen

Hi Hopefor30 - thanks so much for your post.  I think I will be fine too, its just hard to not freak out just a little.  I am glad that everything turned out B9 for you.  My oncologist has talked about removing my ovaries in the past, so maybe we will have that discussion again when I see her on Monday.

    Thanks again for your post.

    Wishing you continued good health!

    Karen
