    Hi everyone,

I'm hoping that other people will be interested in this as well, I spoke with Hester Hill today, she is a very well respected social worker oncologist and highly acclaimed author, not to mention two time breast cancer survivor. I've heard so much about her and would love to get this support group of the ground, but she tells me she needs a couple more women for it to move forward. This group would be free to anyone who wants to be a part of it and I think it would be essential and valuable for many women.

I will keep plugging a way because I think this is really needed, especially in the Boston area but the word isn't getting out and I have my own theories on why, politics, politics. Women that need the support are going without. I was diagnosed in October of 2009. Since then I have had  a lot of trouble just finding other women that are going through this as well, only true support is Breastcancer.org and it's been amazing) but that support is limited.

I have included a link where Hester Hill is speaking. Feel free to watch, it's about 5 minutes long and I think what she has to say is pretty profound, insightful and powerful, especially knowing that she has been through it and still going through it. Hope to hear from anyone who needs a little more support in New England. Hester Hill is located at the Beth Isreal hospital on the green line. Again, this support group is free. Thank you for listening and for your time.  Please send me a private message so we can get this group started. :)
