Did it work right away or did it take a month or so to kick in?  I got my first one (actually got Eligard - same thing) a couple weeks ago yet my cycle came right on schedule this month.  I'm going to call the nurse on Tuesday, but thought I'd see if anyone knew if this was normal?

This is normal, to have one last period.  I'm on zoladex (essentially the same thing) and a little more than two weeks later I got my last period, and it lasted longer than usual.  That doesn't mean the lupron isn't working.  My onc told me I could start Arimidex the night of my shot.

I started Lupron the day before I started A/C.  Both the fertility specialist and the onc said that I would probably get one more period that would last a bit longer than normal.  Apparently there is some post bleeding with Lupron that usually happens when you get your period (depending on when you start it) or a bit after.  I had one, within two weeks.  Longer and a bit heavier, but nothing since then.  Just hot flashes and insomnia!

Thanks all!  I really needed to hear that my ovaries weren't just sabotaging me again - little traitors....
