Hello
Hello all,
I came here in 2007 to tell my story for my mom. She battled this demon for almost 3 years, however on June 17th she lost the battle. I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind thoughts, inspiring stories, and private messages. Every good piece of information I got I was able to share with my mom and it gave her a reason to fight more and more each day. I pray for the day they find a cure for this. In the meantime we must continue to use this site to get through this cancer and fight it and KILL IT! My mom was only 53 and she was perfectly healthy before she was dx. She never gave up but somethings are not in our power and she and I were at peace before she passed.
Ladies please continue to fight, it is worth and it does work. Don't let the cancer win! If anyone needs more information on my mom and her type, etc. Send me a private message and I will be happy to share.
Thanks again,
Jenell

I am so very sorry that you lost your mom to this beast. I send my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Losing a mother is such a tragic loss, and yes, she was much too young. May God surround you with strength during this very difficult time.

Dear Jenell,
I am so soorry for your loss but I know your Mom would not want you to be too sad. It sounds like you two had a very close and loving relationship. Be thankful for that and remember she will always live in your heart. My heart bleeds for you. My mother is still living at 84 and as a 12 yr post br ca survivor but now has dementia so she is not the same person I have always known, but I do have good memories. I and my sister have both been dx with br ca but Mom hasn't processed that. The pain of loosing your mom will get better and become bitter sweet. Take care of yourself and be diligent about your health. We lost our dad to lung ca 6 yrs ago. gin2ca
