Non-comedo but possibly high grade DCIS????

I am puzzled. Just spoke with radiologist who said the DCIS might be high grade, but it is non comedo. I thought they were one in the same, and whatever I read seems to confuse me more!

    Well, I am obviously not a doctor, but I would think the person who could answer this best is an oncologist.  Did you get a copy of your pathology report?  That would have all the information on your lesion.

    I have high grade lesion with comedo cells and non-comedo cells.  From what I read about DCIS it looks like I have a mixture of pathology but it's primarily grade 3 with comedo cells.  I know this dx is confusing--take your time and get all of your questions answered.  DCIS is not an emergency and we can take our time in deciding treatment--and there are usually more than one option for those of us with DCIS.
