removal of healthy breast

Am looking for information on removal of a healthy breast in an 86 year old woman. She has cancer in one breast and is scheduled for a mastectomy. She is large breasted, short, has had a hip replacement and I am worried about balance. Do not think she will adapt to bra enhacements. Not considering reconstructive surgery.
