SLNB and ILC

I read that SLN evaluation of patients with ILC results in a high number of false negatives. Anyoine know anything about this? It was an old report (2004) and it recommended using a cytokeratin stain to get bettter results. I have asked 2 docs about this but they both just said they are sure the pathology people did whatever was appropriate. I want to know for sure!
