    I know that everyone has varied symptoms with IBC.  I am curious if anyone has a similar experience to me - I am currently awaiting ultrasound results and have a  biopsy scheduled for Thursday. 

    I have a pink spot (diffuse, mottled appearance) on my left breast about 3 inches by 1.5 inches.  It has been there for over three months.  I don't think there is swelling, noticeable at least, but my breasts are large and with breastfeeding it is sometimes hard to tell.  I have some tenderness in the breast and the skin where it is pink feels sensitive.  Nipple is fine, the spot has not grown in size much. 

    I am breastfeeding.  No response to antibiotics, no fever (so mastitis ruled out by doctor). 

    I have been reading through the forum and admire your strength and emotional availability.  I wish you all success in your fight.
