removal of collar bonne

Options

...soon I'm having surgery to remove enlarged  recurrent cancerous swelling (while on chemo)--which would involve removal of collar bone for clear margins!!!  The tissue is now necrotic.....

Anyone know similar.....??

I have very good Drs. --but....

    Janice,

I would post this question on the Stage IV forum.  I think there might be more info to support you there.  I'm a big believer in second opinions.  Do you have another good thoracic surgeon that you can go to for that second opinion?  Good luck finding the right answers, and I hope that they can get rid of this thing for good.

    Peace

Bobbie....now my oncologist--well known, etc. is FOR surgery...this surgeon is very good...she feels HE would be best!  At one time when the swelling was UNDER the skin-- she was against surgery.

I might see another surgeon----but this surgery should be soon!

I might also consult with another oncologist elsewhere ---but time -consumung

At one point I saw another oncologist in my city--who also thinks surgery is best now-at this time (not before)
