Hi raj....I never knew about this thread.
i will post my grapefruit plant which i started from my own seeds during chemo.
Its growing like crazy but no fruit.
-
I'm sorry ladies if you know the story of this plant I need to repeat it again.
This picture was shot in April 2010 in my kitchen since I bring it in in winter months.
Now got so tall.
Well When I planted this in 2005 i said this will be my memory from the difficult days and the more it grew the better I felt. It was like my life, my health was gonna be just like this plant. Healthy.
When I joined the BCO I dedicated my plant to all my sisters here.
It keeps growing and growing......
Thank You for reading.
Hugs To All

karen....You made me laugh because i cant post pictures (real life) either.
It was in my FB. All I do is copy the picture not URL the actual picture and post it here.
i just cant get that photobucket or anything else.

I have tried and tried to post pictures. What is FB? My pictures are on my hard drive under "My Pictures." I select, copy and then try to paste, but nothing happens. Then I tried clicking the insert/edit image but it asks for a url. Anybody have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Ok Ladies, I uploaded this pic from Photobucket. Once again it is one of my 2009 trees, but I am learning how to do this now. Here are the instructsions:
1) Open a free account on http://www.photobucket.com/ and follow their instructions to upload your pictures to your photobucket album.
2) Once uploaded to photobucket, each pic in your album will have 4 links you can use, for BCO use the 'direct' link. Simply click on it with your mouse and it will copy the link to your temporary clipboard.
3) On BCO, click on the 'insert pic' icon on the toolbar at the top of the messagebox window, its the green icon that looks like a tree to the left of the big yellow smiley face icon.
4) In the pop up window, paste the link in the 'image url' texbox, then click 'insert' button and your picture should appear in the main message window. I sized my pic down to 500 x 500. I may have to adjust on the next one.
Then just click 'submit' to post to the thread.
-
-
I cannot get this to work!!! Maybe there is a browser setting that needs to be changed. Back at it...
-
-
Hi Karen..How do you size the pic.
I have Picasa Album i wonder if that works the same way.
Thanks
-
ALLELUIA!!!
These are my roses when they are in full bloom. They are an "antique" rose. Can't remember the name but they smell heavenly & no thorns!!
-
GEORGEOUS!!!!! Janet
Sheila.......after you press on the green tree icon a pop up window will appear and you paste the URL there and then a few lines down it will have DIMENSIONS with a block x block. I just put 500 in each of the blocks and it seemed to work fine......Karen
-
Sheila....I LOVE the story behind your grapefruit plant.
-
Janet .... love the roses .. they are gorgeous. My gardening keeps me from going crazy! I could garden all year round when I lived in San Diego .. it's tough for me here in VA in the winter. Although shoveling snow does keep me busy in the winter!

Thanks for the comments! I have to say the roses thrive in spite of me - because I'm not really sure how/when to prune them. Have been meaning to take a class.
Karen - thanks to you & the others for the tutorials! I still can't use the insert button. When I click that, paste the url, all I get is a red X in a blank box in my post. I use kodak online (ofoto). This time it worked when I just used copy/paste for the picture itself on the album. Go figure. But watch out! I'm dangerous now that I know how to post pics
