So Yesterday I had an Ultrasound
- on my ovarys. I wanted one b-c I am having my ovarys out on Tuesday and didn't want to wake up to any surprises. He said my ovarys looked good, normal. He then pointed out some fluid and or blood on my uterine lining. He said it was either nothing or precancerous. He said tamoxifin could cause it as well. He stated 4 times that this WAS not mets-he said impossible. I made him repeat it over and over lolll poor guy. And he did say he has seen it a tons of times but still I am scared. He said less then half a chance it was uternie cancer, he said he would be surprised even if it was precancerous. He will scrap it off and send off.My oncologist said it was nothing and actually told me to stop driving everyone crazy. lol
I did just have a baby so I wondering if that caused it. I never got my period back after having baby...
Anyway i am scared to google it to see if he is telling me the truth. I don't think doctors understand how these things scare us. Anyone ever hear of this happening?

OK, firstly, DO NOT GOOGLE!! Really, you can find nothing useful there.
I would bet that you having just had a baby would be the cause, maybe even the tamox...Either way, no-one seems worried, so you shouldn't be either.
Great news the Ovaries and everything else looks fine. Ask if they can call you as soon as they have the pathology - my Family dr called me as soon as she got the report. I was still a bit worried (it is rare, remember, esp with IDC, and I had had a good U/S too) and it was great to hear the words "no malignancy found". You'll be hearing those words too!!
BTW, I freaked out more before my ooph that I did before my Mx. I knew with my Mx it was very serious, and very important to get the cancer out, whereas the ooph was more elective and I was removing healthy parts of me. So, it is natural to be anxious, but remember you are doing it for all the right reasons. You are going to do great!

Pure, I am sure you are fine. Normal to worry, but the odds of it being anything are absurdly slim.
Did your oncologists recommend the ooph? I am now on tamoxifen, never got my period back either after chemo. I am 43. Are you going on AI's after? I go Monday, I will ask about the procedure in my case.
Kerri - I need to put DO NOT GOOGLE!!!!!!!!! on my computer screen. Not worth the scares it causes, is it?? LOL!

I was just tested for uterine cancer because of bleeding. Test was on Tuesday, results back Friday afternoon. No problems. Sounds like you have a good Dr.. who is on top of things like mine. I know how stressfull it is as I just drove myself crazy with it. Hugs everything will be fine.
-
Tks for your responses.. I have had no bleeding or pain or anything like that but I think everything scares me now.
-
Just live! You're fine. I know "easier said than done". Give the fear away to the big guy.

Dear Girl.
Tamox causes the thickening of the uterine wall. Very very common. Don't freak. You're OK.
-
Jenn - everyone has said exactly what I would have said. I know it's hard not to worry, especially after what you've been through, but try to relax - you are fine.

I agree, it sounds like the Drs. are not overly worried and so maybe you should not be either. I think being overly concerned and persistent is okay though...maybe it makes the Doc look a bit closer..
