Not the hair on your head (or lack thereof).  Last spring/summer I started chemo, which in total lasted until December.  We all know about dealing with head hair loss.

I started A/C on June 5 2009, every three weeks for 4 tx. Then 12 weekly Taxol treatments starting in August. When I lost my head hair I thought, well at least I'll lose leg hair and won't have to shave. But I guess the leg hair grew back between treatments because I still had some stubble.  So I finally figured out what to try. After the 3rd A/C treatment I waited a couple of days and used my Epilady - that shaver that tweezes the hair out. Since the hair root was dead it didn't hurt at all. I didn't have to shave again until after chemo was all over.

It might have worked after the first A/C even, but I didn't think of it that quickly. This isn't a great compensation for chemo, I know, but it did help my outlook a little, and any little bit helps.
