    I was diagnosed with DCIS right breast in late March.  I was also being evaluated by a GYN surgeon and ended up needing a hysterectomy with BSO, so it was all done together yesterday (June 2).

    BS told me that frozen section showed margins were clear--final pathology should be completed by tomorrow.  She does not think I will need radiation--so glad about thatSmile!!   I have no pain in my breast so far. 

    I am so relieved to have these surgeries behind me.  I am thankful for this website and discussion forum for the information and support available.
