Has anyone had accelerated partial breast radiation with the SAVI device?

    I just "bumped" an old post of mine about Mammosite up to show some responses I had received for a lady asking about Mammosite.....not sure if it is the same thing as SAVI though...

    this is the same as mammosite radiation. I am doing this myself.. well at least I think I am. I have an appt with my surgeon this afternoon and if i learned anything during this process is that you are the captain of your own diagnosis and you need to take control and learn as much as you can. and you need to talk to everyone. I made appts with the phsycial doctor, the radiologist, the surgeron *threee times and the oncologoist before making my decision. This is my life and I intend to live it beyond this diagnosis.
