Before I started chemo I was walking 2 miles daily in about 40 - 45 min.  After chemo started...well...that's another story!  I am on TCH and am going for my 5th round next week.  Since starting...I have no energy.  None.  The first week and a half I am too sick to exercize, and the 2nd half is such a struggle to get a half hour in....in which I am only walking 1 mile.  Anyone else having the same problem?  Any fixes?

Chemo wipes you out.  Before dx, I routinely went 45 strong minutes on an elliptical.  Once I started chemo, I was able to do less and less.  By the end, just normal daily activities like going to work and coming home completely wiped me out and I could do no exercise at all.

Two weeks after chemo was over, I tried hopping on the elliptical for the first time.  I put it on the lowest setting, and even then I was going so slowly it kept blipping off - and I only lasted 5 minutes before I was completely exhausted and had to stop.

I didn't find a fix except for the passage of time, unfortunately.  It takes the body many many months to recover from being poisoned.  Just do what you can and once chemo is over, you can start to build back up slowly.
