Persistant Pain after Treatment

I was diagnosed with recurrent breast cancer to the sternum, paramammary lymph nodes and probably T-2 (so said the PET scan in Jan.)  I have had sternal and left sided chest pain since September.  I got rediagnosed January '10.  I completed 30 rounds of radiation in the middle of March.  My chest and now upper back pain is worse.  It is what I would define as "crushing" when the pain medication wears off.  I had a Chest CT 1 month after completing radiation.  The sternum looked better and they did not see any enlarged lymph nodes.  I am on Faslodex every month (4 doses now) and Zometa every 3 months for 1 year.  I have a bone scan scheduled for Friday.  Can radiation cause the persistant pain?
