3 month check and Mamogram

Hi,

I had my Mamo and Ultra Sound today, not the news I was hoping for...I have another lump.. Its only been 6 months How is this possible?? I also have to have another MRI of the breast..I am thinking I should have  had it removed.. This is my second Lumpectomy... Just very upset,... My sister just passed last October with Cancer , she was 59...See the surgeon May 27th.. 

I am 63 on the 29th of May.. I also have Multiple Scleorsis ,Fibromyalgia and Lupus of the blood..After Radiation I developed Pneumonia and am still recovering ..

Kathy - Please hang in there.  I am sending cyber arms to hold onto you and hope that all will be benign.  I relate totally to what you are going through as I too experienced almost the same just one short month ago.  I finished chemo mid Sept 09, and rads early Dec 09.  Had my first 6 month mammo and US in Oct 09 - all was fine.  Had my second mammo and US in late March '10, and mammo was clear but US found "something" on my internal scar line near the chest wall.  Naturally, I had to be peeled off the ceiling until I had my breast MRI the following week.  It was determined to be a small "seroma" which they feel was an end result of the rads.  I go back next Sept. and begin the fun all over again!  I too am 63 and still not over the shock of being diagnosed with breast cancer at my age after 20 years of clean mammos and NO cancer of any kind on either side of my family.  Plus, got an extra bang for my buck by being diagnosed with triple neg on top of everything.

Again, I will gladly hold your hand through all of this.  I care.
