do you celebrate your cancerversay

It's coming up to my 5 years and i'm so happy to have made it this far.

I haven't celebrated a cancerversary in the past but will this year. My hubby and i are going away for three days and will have a celebration dinner.

Every day is a blessing.

    I take issue with the date of diagnosis as my cancerversary so I celebrate the day I finished treatment and knew I was NED.  I celebrate it every year - May 20th with be 2 years for me.  Yet, truly, we all survive something so we should celebrate each day as a blessing.  Congratulations to you!

    I know what you mean with all these dates. My official dx is the 18th of May in 2007. Your date of the 20th happens to be one of my sisters birthday. How about that. Congrats on all your dates! I too like to think after all my treatments--I had in Raleigh,NC--to be another cancerversary as well.
