Gammagram insurance coverage

I am considering having a gammagram....the latest techno on cancer screening....i have my medical reasons for it, but i am asking....is this covered by Medicare? I understand it costs about $500 for the procedure. I would be able to pay out of pocket, but it helps if its covered, my savings have really decreased from the last year of med bills.
