So worried waiting for lumpectomy

I realize this is the appropriate forum to be in.  I've just been diagnosed with a 6mm IDC lesion, grade 3, MRI looks good, and scheduled for lumpectomy on June 7.  I'm a professor, and working so hard to try and keep my mind off of this, but am so worried about staging, and spread to lymphs.  I am having such a hard time, so fearful, crying, and afraid of what is ahead.

I want to try and be calm, but with the fear of my lymphs, having a terrible time.
