Help, Burning itching skin on arms and legs

Has anyone experience burning and itching skin on legs and arms.... This will only be my 5th day and i have been experiencing since my 3rd day a crazy burning and itching on my arms and legs... It was so bad yesterday that i had to take off my pants... My legs feel dry but never have i felt this sensation... My rad oncologist said that this is not a side effect, but i beg to differ... Anyone have this please share your experience... Hoping i am not getting some crazy allergic reaction to the radiation or my very fragile nervous system isn't acting up????

 Thanks for sharing anything similar  or any weird side effects that is not in the 101 manual....

 Itching like crazy....

 I also experience nausea and some heartburn too... I have read on these threads that others have experienced that one... I am going to make sure today that they aren't hitting my stomach or esophagus .... 

 Feeling like this is not a walk in the park for me.... I am tired of putting on that happy, brave face for everyone....

Lorin I had the same problem and I think it is caused by nerves. I was always terrified that they were going to hit an organ or ruin a lung. I was a basketcase all through rads.(((hugs))
