Yep, broccoli and citrus fruit. I read that in a book a friend gave me and it's been a regular in my diet ever since. Also, blueberries are very important too!

My dog will not eat his food unless I put raw broccoli in it and 3 extra pieces on the counter....I guess they are nutritionally smart....since my BC diag I have made myself eat a raw piece everytime I feed him...not taking any chances since I think he is trying to tell me something...

Hmmm, I've never given my dogs broccoli. They do love apples, oranges, carrorts, red pepper and one of them will eat bananas and celery too. The other one spits out the bananas and celery. I keep saying "Couper, you eat dog poop, but yet still you find celery to be disgusing"??!!

Broccoli sprouts have much higher concentrations of all cancer-fighting molecules found in broccoli. Not very hard to grow . You eat them when they are three weeks grown. The molecules are at their maximum when broccoli sprouts are heated a bit.   Done tons of research on the topic and this is what I found.  Growing broccoli sprouts is very easy ... proof:  I've done it!

Excellent.  I have steamed broccoli at least 4-5 times a week.  Love it!

Thanks for the reminder... I had been eating a lot of broccoli (almost daily) but had fallen off in the last couple of months. And mginger, thanks for mentioning sprouts too... I bought some broccoli seeds a while back to sprout but I still haven't started sprouting them!

For a while there after my dx, broccoli in some kind of curry sauce (for the turmeric) was one of my favorite anti-cancer dinners! Need to pick up that habit again!!
