Vitamin D and ENERGY!

Options

OK, might just be a coincidence, as my RADS just ended, but I have been taking 2000-4000 IUs drops of Vitamin D daily. In the past 2 weeks, my energy levels have skyrocketed. I feel like I could lift a CAR!

In fact, I lifted a 35 lb sleeping 2 year old IN HIS CARSEAT yesterday, walked with him to another car, put him in the other car with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. That was *after* an 8 mile hike.

I haven't felt like this IN YEARS. Maybe I've never felt like this! When my radiation oncologist told me I would be tired from rads, I shrugged, thinking "How could it be bad? I am always tired..."  I have 3 young kids and a hectic job. I feel like I might have been Vitamin D deficient for long enough to think that my former energy levels were normal.

Anyway, would be interested in hearing if Vitamin D has affected others in this manner.

I take 3000 IU of vitamin D and have oodles of energy.  I'm on the go from 8 am to midnight and do lots of exercise.  I hadn't made the connection, but I know that my levels are quite high. You're right.....I havent had this much energy for a long time, even before BC and I always had lots of energy. Wasn't on Vitamin D then either.
