Saline or silicone implant

I need to do the reconstruction soon. I am very concerned about the safety and comfort. Plastic surgeon wants me to do silicone implant because it has better apperance. I am concerned about the possible leakage and hard to notice if it leaks. Can anyone share her experience on this? By the way, I I live in orange county, california. If someone knows about a good plastic surgeon, please kindly share the information. Thanks.
