Aloe gel confusion

So I start rads this coming Monday and today went to Richard's Whole Foods to get some aloe gel.  There were 6 brands on the shelf- some 99% "pure" some 98% "pure". Most of the had more than one ingredient which concerned me.

Should I get the 99% with some additives or a different one not labeled as 99% with less ingredients.??-- so confused!

Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel Pure no color added, no alcohol ( from the bottle) I got this one at Rite Aid 12oz for $5.99

and I splurged and also got a squeeze tube which I stuck in my pocket and brought to the hosp every day to slather on  in the dressing room after treatment - Aftersun from CVS also without blah blah 6 oz for $2.99.

I used aloe vera three times a day and calendula cream once a day - but left a four hour gap before radiation. Some people put the aloe vera in the fridge and find the coolness very soothing!

Hope all goes well with your radiation - I did not have any problems.
