Pathology Report

Just recevied a copy of my pathology report.  The report indicates that a core biopsy of the right breast shoes invasive ductal carcimona, moderate to poorly differentiated.  ????????????

What does that mean?  In addition, a comment was made that prominent lymphocytic infiltrate is seen within and around the neoplasm.  HER-2/neu and ER/PR receptor studies to be reported upon completion.

I feel like I am going to throw up....scared to death.

    Hi sweete, it is so overwhelming, isn't it?  Try to take a deep breath.  Ok, did you do that? There is a place here on BC.org that gives alot of info about intepreting your path report.  I am so sorry that you have to deal with this.  Please know that there are so many smart and wonderful people on this site who will support you!  Sending love and support to you.
